Casa Monti × Le Tre Sarte: Roman Craftsmanship in Monti

In Monti, the best addresses are often just a few streets away. Step out of Casa Monti, wander through the neighbourhood, and you'll find yourself on Piazza dei Ricci, outside the Le Tre Sarte boutique. Behind the window there are rolls of fabric, a long cutting table and artisans working by hand. If you've stayed with us before, you already know their work, perhaps without realising it: they've been dressing our team since day one.
TWO ROMANS, ONE ZERO-WASTE SARTORIA
Camilla Voci and Niccolò de Leonardis founded Le Tre Sarte with a simple idea: to keep Roman tailoring alive rather than preserve it behind glass. Nothing goes to waste in their atelier. Every cut is planned to avoid offcuts, and every piece is put together by hand. The style is contemporary and relaxed, but the craft is the same one tailors have practised for generations. Camilla and Niccolò are familiar faces on the Roman scene, and old friends of the house.
THE PEOPLE WHO DRESS CASA MONTI
If our team's outfits caught your eye as you walked in, you've already met Le Tre Sarte. The house designed our uniforms when the hotel opened: effortlessly elegant pieces made to be worn from morning to night. At the front desk, one question comes up again and again: where can I find this? The answer never changes: just around the corner, on Piazza dei Ricci. This collaboration is the natural next step after all those conversations.
THE OPERA BAG: THE HOUSE IN ONE PIECE

If you were to remember just one Le Tre Sarte creation, it would be this one. The Opera Bag is made to stay with you for years. It sums up everything the atelier stands for: handwork, a thoughtful use of materials and an elegance that doesn't go out of style.
AN HOUR IN THE ATELIER, A BAG OF YOUR OWN
The Opera Bag Experience takes you to the other side of the cutting table. Things start the Roman way, with coffee and a cornetto. The artisans then share the story of the house and its signature bag before letting you pick your fabric from their swatches. Then it's time to pick up the scissors: you cut your own pattern, with guidance at every step.
Twenty-four hours later, your Opera Bag is ready. You can collect it from the boutique or have it delivered straight to the hotel. And to remember the moment, you leave with a Le Tre Sarte pompom keyring.
OTTOBRATA ROMANA: IT ALL STARTS AT THE TABLE
To launch the collaboration, we turned to a very Roman tradition: the Ottobrata, those mild October days spent outdoors with friends. On 12 October, a long table is set al fresco on Via Panisperna, our street, for an evening of aperitivo, craftsmanship and creativity. From that date, the Opera Bag Experience is open for our guests to book.
BEFORE YOU PICK UP THE SCISSORS
The workshop lasts around an hour at the Le Tre Sarte boutique on Piazza dei Ricci, a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Sessions welcome six guests at most, so everyone has time with the artisans.
To book, write to our Guest Relations team at ciao@casamontiroma.com. You can cancel up to 24 hours before your session.
