At Casa Monti, we have long suspected that art was never meant to be well-behaved. From April 15th to October 15th, the artist Michael McGregor moves into Art Suite.

He has reimagined these four walls as a "living canvas," blurring the line between a night’s sleep and a painter’s dream. One does not simply stay here; one enters a masterpiece without knocking. Surrounded by ceramics, textiles, and icons of a reimagined Rome, you cease to be a spectator and become a character in a Mediterranean story.

Based on the sketches of his 2025 Roman residency, McGregor’s latest works—and his book ROMA AMOR—await within. And for those who find it impossible to say goodbye, the room is not only available for a stay but also for sale.
